Oxo-Alcohols
Oxo-alcohols are obtained from the olefins by a combination of hydroformylation and hydrogenation reaction. These molecules are primarily used in the production of plasticizers which are in turn used in the vinyl and paint and coatings industry. Certain alcohols are also reacted with EO to obtain surfactants for use in Drilling and Agro industries.
